|
|
Dear Sir,
I downloaded the latest OVPsim release 20090123 and released that there are less cache models than the previous release. Is it possible that I re-use some of the previous release cache model in this 20090123 release?
In addition, I would like to experiment with different cache configuration impact on the system performance, such as using 16-byte cache line or using 4KByte cache. Are there any resources to create the cache models?
Best Regards,
Dominic |

Thanks for pointing this out.
We decided not to put all the pre-built versions of the cache models in the OVP library, to reduce the download size, but rather to provide the source and allow any generic cache model to be created.
Unfortunately, for the 20090123.0 release the source was not added to allow the cache models to be built. It will be available in the next release.
In the meantime, if this is hindering you I can send you the source files you need. Please send me your preferred email contact details. |
