|
|
The user and system time reported are completely dependent on the host platform on which the simulator is working. These timing statistics do not depend on what other tasks the host machine is busy executing.
Changing the nominal mips changes the simulated time. In a multiprocessor homogeneous platform, a processor with higher nominal mips exit earlier than the one with the lower MIPs.
Is there some means by which the simulated time can be monitored??
I mean in homogeneous scenario discussed above can i see the time at which my processor exits? |

At present the simulated time is reported only for the overall simulation, not for individual processors. |

Hi,
what is the diffrence between the "simulated time" and the "Elapsed time" in the statistic output at the end of the simulation?
thank you. _________________ Trainee Alpha-engineering |

Simulated time is time in the simulated application that is running in the virtual platform.
Elapsed time is the time for which the simulator has been running on the native machine. |
