Hi! I want to do research on task scheduling under multi-core environment (based on X86). Which category of OVPsim should I download?

If you are doing x86 based research is there a reason you are not considering working on the host machine itself?
OVP provides the ability to run binary files compiled for other architectures e.g. ARM , MIPS, Renesas, ARC etc on an x86 host machine.
