I'm just finishing installing OVPsim and or1k toolchains. But, when I am trying to run a demo as UG(Imperas Installation and Getting Started Guide 7.1) suggested, an error occurred and I don't know how to handle it.

Here's the error:

Error : failed to load file '/home/renyi/ovp/Imperas.20140731/bin/Linux32/libOVPsim.so' :
/home/renyi/ovp/Imperas.20140731/bin/Linux32/libdwarf.so : ELF file OS ABI invalid

THX

Do you have direct connection to the internet, or do you use a proxy server ?

If you are using a proxy server then you will need to describe this to the simulator by doing the following

1. Determine your proxy IP address / string, eg http://172.17.1.254
2. Determine the port number forthe proxy server eg 3128
3. set the following variable

export IMPERAS_PROXY_SERVER=172.17.1.254:3128

Now run the simulator.
Please let me know if this solves your problem

Thx
Lee
