I have managed to run the Hello world example on an Cortex_A on OVPsim.I will continue to try to run matrix multiplication.
Except from MIPS i want to have statistics from CACHE, like cache misses.
How can i get this??Is cache included by default in the Cortex_A model or should i install it seperetaly?

cache models are not included by default in instruction accurate models as to be accurate requires the effects of pipelines, pre-fetching etc that are not modeled.
However, L1 cache models can be created to provide estimations of the effects of an application on the cache or vice versa. These are typically included as part of the processor model (see MIPS model) or implemented externally using the MMC model (see cache models in the ImperasLib VLNV library provided in your installation)
