Hi. I have a question for modifying processor model.

This could be silly question but, I really want to know about that.
I know OVP processor model don't have pipeline and OVP simulator is instruction set simulator.

My question is this:
Can I modify processor model and make cycle accurate one with pipeline?
I know this could decrease simulation performance.
However, simulation performance is not in my concern.

Thank you.

Best regards.

Well, I guess, as the model is C code it may be possible to code some form of pipeline within it .. but I would not recommend the approach!
