Hi.

I have my initial installation of OVPsim up and running on a Toshiba laptop running Ubuntu 12.5. A check of my environment (set up in ~/.bashrc) shows the following:
IMPERAS_UNAME=Linux
IMPERAS_ARCH=Linux32
IMPERAS_RUNTIME=OVPsim
IMPERAS_VLNV=/usr/bin/Imperas.20120906/lib/Linux32/ImperasLib
IMPERAS_HOME=/usr/bin/Imperas.20120906

The fibonacci demo in section 7.1.1 works fine. However, when I try to run the HelloWorld demo in section 7.3 using the command line:

platform.Linux32.exe application.OR1K.elf or1k

I get the following error:
platform.Linux32.exe: command not found

I checked the permissions on this file, and it is shown as being executable.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help,.

Hi
This sounds like a simple search path issue. Is '.' In the searchpath ? If not either add it to the path, or prefix the commad you are running as './platform.Linux32.exe'
Let me know if this works

Thx lee

Not sure what your question is asking?

The environment settings displayed are correct for a 32-bit Linux installation in /usr/bin. there is some information about the environment in the Installation and Getting Started Guide

For the time being I want to run the Demo files of or1k (Run_Fibonacci.sh) but it doest not recognize these sh files...
Then I returned to the starting fies so I think I have some problem in the point 4.3.2.1 under the document Imperas_Installation_and_Getting_started.pdf...

root@ubuntu:~# source /root/Downloads/old/Imperas.20150901/bin/setup.sh
Function 'setupImperas' successfully added to shell:
Usage: setupImperas [-help] [-m32] <Installation>
-help, Print this help
-m32, Run 32bit product under a 64bit OS

root@ubuntu:~# ^C
root@ubuntu:~# setupImperas /root/Downloads/old/Imperas.20150901/
Info: IMPERAS_ISS is undefined, defaulting to iss.exe

Kindly help me run the basic Demos, I am using Ubuntu 12.01

can you run Imperas.20150901/bin/report.sh ?
If so please check the environment reported by this script looks similar to that described in the Installation and Getting Started guide

What do you get when you try and run the shell script ?

You have added . to your PATH or you run with ./Run_Fibonacci.sh as I see you had a problem with the local directory not on PATH.

Alternatively you can examine the contents of the script and run this on the command line

Quote:
${IMPERAS_ISS} --verbose --program ../../../Applications/fibonacci/fibonacci.OR1K-O3-g.elf \
--processorvendor ovpworld.org --processorname or1k --variant generic \
--numprocessors 1 $@ -argv 36

Note $IMPERAS_ISS will be issdemo.exe or iss.exe
