Cadence
The System Realization Alliance is a network of companies collaborating with Cadence to improve system development by increasing tool usability and interoperability, defining open methodologies built on industry standards, enabling creation of system level design and verification IP that is reusable, proliferating methodology through training, and assisting customer success and methodology adoption through services.

Imperas is working with Cadence on embedded software development and software verification by integrating OVPsim with Cadence IES (SystemC/TLM2.0 simulation) and ISX. At the DAC09 Virtual Platform workshop Posedge Software presented a paper on the use of Specman ISX with Open Virtual Platforms. The slides are here. Posedge have also put up an application note on this integration here.

In May 2011 Cadence announced the new Virtual System Platform products that incorporate Imperas OVP Fast Processor Models of ARM classic, ARM Cortex, MIPS, Power, and Renesas processors and also includes integration of the Imperas M*VAP advanced software verification, analysis, and profiling tools.
