This short video shows the Imperas OVP model of the SiFive RISC-V U54-MC 5 core running in an Extendable Platform Kit (EPK) simulation of a virtual platform that includes several components including PLIC, CLINT, and a UART and boots a standard Linux SMP Kernel image. The booting to the Linux prompt takes under 10 seconds. The video continues with showing how the Imperas Multi-Core debugger and Imperas OS aware tools can help in the bring up of complex Operating Systems.
